X marks the spot called Sebana Cove Marina, the location of the Wind Spirit at the present time. She is actually in Malaysia. Moving backwards, the track leads to Johor Baharu where I met that crazy French guy and spent a few weeks looking for a job in Singapore. JB is right across the causeway from Singapore and has the flavor of a rich, almost nauseating, border town. Backing up from there you can see my approach from the east up the Johor Straits to JB.
